About Sean Mahan
Sean is a voice actor and 20-year Army veteran based in Hampton Roads, Virginia. He is a dedicated, multi-disciplined artist and a true creator of character, leveraging his versatile voice to inform and entertain audiences for most of his life. His wide vocal range masterfully brings projects to life across animation (including voice matching), video games, dynamic commercials, engaging e-learning modules, corporate narration, immersive audiobooks, and video narration. He has been a voice actor since 2018.
Sean is an exceptional, dedicated talent ready to exceed expectations with his character-driven delivery. His repertoire is vast, encompassing a 17th-century English sailor, George Washington, a Clint Eastwood-esque groundhog, President Franklin Roosevelt, a humble little sheep, a Vietnam-era radio news announcer, and even the Little Engine That Could. An expert of the spoken word, he is a one-man army of voices you will always want on your team—an incomparable force of nature ready to elevate your next project.
What truly sets Sean apart are the unique life experiences that add rich layers to his scintillating ability to relate to a story and invent fresh interpretations. He has a history as compelling as the characters he portrays: surviving a tornado, two Army tours in Germany, exploring the interior of a 4,500-year-old Egyptian pyramid, and successfully raising two boys to adulthood. A genuine warrior of the word, he consistently brainstorms ingenious solutions for diverse voice-over needs. He has also dedicated several years to helping run the annual Mid-Atlantic Voice Over (MAVO) Conference as the Assistant Executive Producer.
